better late than never: Swiss reggae artist Cookie The Herbalist <\/strong>has been awarded an official Billboard chart plaque for his song \u201cEAZE!\u201d<\/strong>, a collaboration with the late Jamaican icon Lee \u201cScratch\u201d Perry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally released in 2017, „EAZE!“<\/strong> appeared on the international compilation Tropical House Cruises To Jamaica (2018)<\/strong>, which achieved major chart success by spending four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart<\/strong> and remaining 18 weeks in the Top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compilation features an outstanding lineup of global artists, including Ed Sheeran<\/strong>, Sean Paul<\/strong>, Shaggy<\/strong>, Stephen & Damian Marley<\/strong>, Wyclef Jean<\/strong>, Chronixx<\/strong>, Sizzla Sean Kingston<\/strong> and others, positioning „EAZE!“<\/strong> as part of one of the most successful reggae-related releases of the decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song was created in close collaboration with Lee \u201cScratch\u201d Perry<\/strong>, who was not only a musical partner but also a mentor and guiding force to Cookie The Herbalist<\/strong>. „EAZE!“<\/strong> reflects Perry\u2019s later artistic phase \u2014 conscious, minimal and spiritual \u2014 delivering a timeless message of peace, humanity and inner balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis plaque is a long-overdue but deeply meaningful recognition \u2014 not only for me, but for the work I was fortunate to create alongside Lee \u2018Scratch\u2019 Perry. The message of \u2018EAZE!\u2019 feels more relevant today than ever.\u201d<\/strong>
